Ascaso’s new line of coffee grinders were designed to enhance your coffee-making experience, combining tradition and technology to bring you only the best brews. Catering specifically to each coffee enthusiast’s needs, Ascaso developed two versions of their highly popular coffee and espresso grinder. The I-1 Grinder is a sleek, flat wheel grinder and the I-2 has a conical grinding wheel.

The Ascaso I-2 Coffee Grinder, which is the only professional grade coffee grinder for both home and office use, is specially equipped with a cone shaped primary grinder burr which is excellent at producing very consistent grinds. Coffee enthusiasts will delight in the machine's conical burrs which produce very fine or very coarse grinds depending on one's taste and preference. Recommended for general purpose grinding, the conical grinding wheels are securely built into the grinding chamber which is encased in long-lasting commercial grade plastic composite.

Both the Ascaso I-1 and I-2 have a Micrometric Regulating System (MRS), a stepless adjustment to strategically control the quality and consistency of the grinds, thus making more precisely textured blends. This advanced feature gives the coffee enthusiast the liberty to be creative with his blends, adjusting the grind setting for the perfect espresso blend. Moreover, coffee enthusiasts will enjoy the convenience of grinding directly into the coffee holder of their machine, which is conveniently equipped with a doser.

The Ascaso I-1 Grinder comes in a sleek silver stainless steel finish, giving your kitchen a modern look. This version of the Ascaso I-1 Grinder does not have a built in doser.

FEATURES

• Simple and easy to use controls. Operation will be a breeze as the grinder is equipped with easy to use knobs and buttons. The main power button is on one side of the machine while the spring-loaded manual on/off button can be found under the coffee dispensing chute. It also acts as an automatic button that will enable the machine to start grinding when you place the coffee holder or any container against it. Once the coffee holder is removed, it will automatically stop grinding. The Ascaso I-1 Grinder with flat burr doesn’t need a coffee dispenser as the grinders have a coffee chute that will funnel the freshly ground coffee from the grinding chamber directly to your desired container.
• Large-capacity coffee bean hopper. Ascaso I-1’s coffee bean hopper can hold up to 1.3 pounds of coffee, letting you brew up to as much as several pots of coffee or up to 60 shots of espresso. The sturdy bean hopper is made of clear shatter-resistant plastic and comes with an equally durable plastic lid.
• Hassle-free cleaning. Routine cleaning will be so much easier with the removable coffee bean hopper that exposes the grinding chamber for trouble-free maintenance.
