The newest offering from Ascaso, the Steel Duo TRONIC Professional is a 325mL brass coffee boiler designed to deliver superior espresso extraction through its easy to use lower front control panel. Once the button is pushed, it activates the thermoblock, thus providing instant steaming and frothing functions even during the extraction process. To save electricity, the machine can be used in espresso only mode. It only takes 15 minutes to warm the coffee boiler, which is automatically heated by the steam boiler, which can be left on. The Ascaso Steel Duo TRONIC Professional was designed with two pumps that enables extracting espresso while steaming milk--saving you time in your coffee preparation routine.

• The Ascaso Steel Duo TRONIC Professional is fully-automatic, enabling the user to depress one of three programmable coffee dosage buttons and automatically pumps the user's desired, pre-programmed amount of water through the coffee ground.
• The machine is equipped with a flow meter, which programs the volume of water to go through the coffee grind. Additionally, there's the GICAR motherboard, a leading motherboard used in most best-selling espresso machines.
• The steam wand is also equipped with a steam pipe protector to prevent the user from getting burns.
• A three-way solenoid valve is also installed to enable the user to instantly remove the portafilter handle when the coffee button is set to off.
• The innovative steam thermoblock system has an independent on/off power switch located near the steam activation switch at the top right of the top panel. The water switch, which activates a separate valve for hot water through its own water pipe, is also independent of the other controls and is located on the lower right of the front top panel.
• The machine is equipped with a drip tray which slides forward for easy cleaning and a drip tray cover which is not removable.
• To control the temperature and get the most out of your coffee, the machine is also equipped with a temperature gauge that lets the user adjust the temperature range of the coffee boiler.
• To avoid damage to the heating elements in the machine, the Ascaso Steel Duo TRONIC Professional has a sensor that determines water levels in the water reservoir.
• To remove air that may be suctioned up with the water from the reservoir, the machine has a special S-2 Autoprime valve that automatically releases the air.
• The swivel steam pipe is mounted on a swivel to make frothing for cappuccinos easier.
