Super automatic espresso machines differ from a traditional semi-automatic espresso machine because it creates espresso and coffee automatically at the push of a button. Coffee bean grinding, dosing, tamping, and all of the steps involved are done automatically when using a super automatic espresso machine. The super automatics also clean out their own filter basket after each shot. Some will even froth milk automatically.
