Vanilla Raspberry Iced Latte Recipe

Summertime Pick-Me-Up

Summertime Pick-Me-Up

The usual hot espresso coffee mornings just don’t seem desirable when Summer is here and the days are long and hot. Here is the summer scene. We want to stay up later to enjoy the summer evenings and we wake up tired. Although I do not recommend skimping on your necessary sleep, I do have a fun solution to help get you up and going. You need something to look forward to, an iced coffee beverage, a tasty caffeinated treat. After you try this recipe you will be jumping up out of bed and running to the kitchen for your morning pick-me-up, Iced VanillaRaspberry Espresso treat. This recipe is gently sweet with a powerful espresso coffee punch.

Ingredients:

Torani Vanilla Syrup

Torani Raspberry Syrup

Espresso shots (Use an automatic espresso machine for quick, convenient espresso)

Milk

Ice

Directions:

In a chilled stainless steel milk frothing pitcher add 4 pumps of vanilla syrup and 1 pump of raspberry syrup.

Pull two shots of espresso into the frothing pitcher.

Add 6 ounces of cold milk to the pitcher. This will cool down the hot espresso.

Swirl all ingredients to cool them down.

Add all cooled ingredients to a cup filled with 2 cups of ice cubes. (If the mixture is to warm, it may melt the ice cubes quickly and water down your beverage. You don’t want this, so make sure the ingredients are cool before adding them to the ice.)

Lower the calories of this recipe using Sugar Free Vanilla and Sugar Free Raspberry syrups. You may also use skim milk or 2 percent milk.

This recipe is quick if you have an automatic espresso machine. I make it in 2 minutes and I am out the door on my way. You can purchase this drink at the local coffee barista for around $4 after driving there and waiting in line, an investment of an additional 20-30 minutes total. Another advantage of the new automatic espresso machines is the taller cup clearance which makes it easier to make beverages using tall mugs or disposable cups.

I have hundreds of recipes like this one. My favorite recipes are quick and iced. Even in the winter time I love an iced coffee beverage. On those hot summer days, when you know you will be up late, make yourself an espresso beverage to get you through the long evening. Or, serve an iced espresso beverage topped with whipped cream as a quick easy dessert. All of my recipes are made quickly and simply using an automatic espresso machine, my secret to convenience and money saving espresso enjoyment.

Hi, I was reading your post and I just wanted to thank you for putting out such excellent content. There’s so much nonsense on the internet these days its hard to find anything worthwhile. I actually have cooked this recipe before, I got this book last month on recommendation from a friend http://ninjahq.com/go/cookingrecipes and it turned out really nice! I’m very eager to try your variation of it though, it looks excellent. I think you might enjoy those recipes, they’re very good. Thanks for the article and great ideas.
