Coffee News: Barista Training Program Helps At-Risk Youth Find a Job

A barista training program in Portland, Oregon helps homeless young people find jobs. The barista training program will train young people how to become a barista with the hopes of landing a job at a coffee shop. The goal is to give homeless young people the experience they need in the coffee shop industry to find work. It’s a pilot program collaboration between p:ear and coffee roaster, Caffe Vita.
