Mona Lisa From 3,604 Coffee Cups

Mona-Lisa_1455885c

The Mona Lisa was re-created for the first time using coffee cups.  All the cups were filled with black coffee and the different shades were created by adding a little, a lot, or no milk to each cup.

When finished the work of art was 20 feet high and 13 feet wide and took a team of eight people three hours to complete.

It was created for The Rocks Aroma Festival in Sydney, Australia, and seen by 130,000 people who attended the one-day coffee-lovers event.
